Blessed are the curious

above photo: This pretty much sums up who we are… goofballs. I actually landed on the ONE razor sharp rock that was in the water and cut up my knee something fierce. Worth it. Taken in Cook’s Bay, Moorea, Tahiti

Dear Friend and Fellow Traveler,

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. Blessed are the curious, for they shall have adventure!

Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved to travel. I was born into the military life, so maybe it’s been ingrained into my being! I was born in Naples, Italy, but spent most of my early childhood growing up in Yokosuka, Japan. From Japan, my family traveled often to Taiwan and the Philippines, until we eventually moved to California. I’ve had many passions in my life, but none have been stronger than my desire to continue to see the world! I love learning about different cultures, tasting exotic foods, and seeing new landscapes.

I’ve been so blessed to be able to carry these things into my marriage and family life. My husband and kids are always up for adventure, and they share my same sense of wanderlust! When I’m not traveling, I’m a typical busy mother of two wonderful kids (who I home school). My husband is my best friend, and the most awesome travel partner. Our “normal life” is plenty full of work, sports, lessons, social activities and classes. As a family, we love hiking, amusement parks, foodie festivals, and playing games. I’m so excited to share this part of our lives with you! Thanks for joining us, as we collect experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.

What’s your dream travel destination? Where is your favorite place on Earth? Where could you return to again and again and never get tired of? Leave me a comment and introduce yourself! I hope you wander often, and wonder always. Happy trails to you and yours!

With love,
Eileen
